Just when We thought that this upcoming summer couldn’t get any more Bey-utiful, H&M ( Hennes and Mauritz) AB: loved worldwide for their affordable fun fast-fashions) releases an effortlessly, seductive photo from its summer Campaign. H&M opened 1947 in Västerås, Sweden, selling only women’s clothing.
The store is called Hennes. H&M opened it’s first non-Sweedish store in Norway,1964 and since then has expanded to having stores in over 43 Counties, employing over 94,000 people; Ranking at the second largest global retailer- Making them the perfect match for the Queen!
The campaign photo is of Queen Bey lounging, as the beach sun grazes Her skin perfectly. The shoot, which took place in Nassau, Bahamas this past January was shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Bey’s unexpected collaboration with H&M includes both Beachwear and Swimwear pieces, one of which a Tie Dye Bikini from H&M’s water collection; A collection that has, since 2002, donated proceeds to WaterAid.
Raising 2,650,000 for water and sanitation proceeds in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan; Where some of H&M’s clothing is produced. H&M’s gracious supports have, thus far, helped more than 150,000 less fortunate people gain access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene knowledge.
Along with the Print and billboard ads will be a deliciously intoxicating commercial, featuring “Standing on the Sun” a new single off of Her new album. “It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial,” Mrs. Carter tells H&M. The commercial, which will be available to view online in its entirety- with edited versions for TV- was directed by Jonas Åkerlund.
